«отсечение» (букв.)ситуация, при которой материнская компания продает, как правило, в процессе IPO, миноритарный пакет дочерней компании, оставляя в своем распоряжении большую часть акций. Дочерняя компания будет иметь собственный совет директоров и готовить собственные финансовые отчеты, но может пользоваться ресурсами и поддержкой материнской компании. Материнская компания чаще всего продает остающийся в ее распоряжении пакет акций своей дочерней фирмы по прошествии некоторого времени на открытом рынке (см. partial spinoff, tracking stocks) -
